Essam El Eriam, the spokesman for the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood, spoke to Fareed Zakaria. Fareed is thought to think to highly of himself in the middle east. Zakaria who claims that he is the advisor to Obama. Fareed also says that he gives wise direction and advice to Barraq Obama.
While young men joked in the back ground about Obama's name. Fareed began the interview with El Eriam as a young man joked "Who can wisely advise a mule?" A youth said. "Who would name a child Barraq?" Another joked. "It must be a child with its head in the clouds." "Careful Fareed. Know what drops on you from Barraq's behind." "You can not go to prayer with that stuff on you, Fareed." The young men kept joking. The joke escapes most westerners.
. But it was clearly aimed at Fareed Zakaria and Barrack Obama. It stems from Obama's first name. Barraq in middle eastern legend was the flying mule granted to the Prophet. The mount called 'Barraq' had hooves, wings and a human head. According to legend the magical beast Barraq could speak with a loud voice. Barraq spoke foolishness mixed with wisdom. The magical beast left it to its human listeners to discern what was the truth.
With this backdrop Essam El Eriam instructed Fareed as though he were a slow child and stated the fact "...Shariah is civil law.."
As everyone knows Shariah does not need codification. Shariah is the code. After the formality of an election and selection of a parliment. The leaders of the people (Infidel and Muslim) will work out how to write the regulations in accordance with Shariah.
Left unsaid but plain as the earth underfoot is that Egyptians need no constitution, they have Shariah and Shariah will determine all other law. If it agrees with Shariah it will be law. Otherwise it will be nothing.
