Team Serial Killers: A Couple of Cousins and a Married Couple

-Doing right is even harder than it sounds o_o?-
Karla and Paul a nice looking couple. They share a horrific passion.

Serial killers or serial murderers can come in teams.  There is no one profile for serial killers.  Serial Killers can be of any race, creed, color, sexual orientation, social level, educational level and so on.  In other words they can be almost anyone.  They are people like everyone else they just seem to murder people just like you over and over again.
Some serial killers, are reclusive and shy others are gregarious and most have families. Usually the family and friends remain unaware of the deadly avocation of their relative or friend.  But sometimes birds of a feather flock together. The secret avocation becomes know to another that shares similar murderous tendencies.   They click. A team is formed.  And together they begin to pursue their mutual passion as a team.  Solo serial killers are deadly but a team of serial killers can and do kill a broader range of victims without risk to themselves.  They may even graduate to group kills once a team has formed, for example, the Manson Family.  But for the most part serial murderers have preferred victim profiles.  Not that murderers will shun away from a victim of opportunity,  most develop a preferred type of victim.  Oh yeah, most serial killers have above average  looks.   Photographs of Aileen Wuornos not withstanding.  Some serial killers have well above average looks.

An infamous serial killer team consisted  of Kenneth Bianchi and Angelo Buono.  They were cousins who had a common interests.  They moved to California and pursued common interests.   Both enjoyed raping and strangling young women. Ironically, both were considered attractive by women.  They were cousins who favored raping and torturing women before they disposed of them.  The cousins had a preference for strangling women before they could expire from their tortures.
This deadly duo left strangled girls and women on  hillsides in and around Los Angeles. Bianchi and Buono were dubbed the Hillside Stranglers by the California press

Karla and Paul a nice looking couple. They share a horrific passion.

A  Canadian serial team of  killers was the team of  Homulkas and Bernardo.  .
Karla Homolkas and  Paul Bernardo met when Karla was 17 and Bernardo was 23 years of age.    Paul was just an ordinary serial rapist and killer until he met Karla.  The two clicked.  Paul and Karla became a serial killing team.  Their first team victim was Homolkas's 15 year old sister who was raped and murdered while her parents slept upstairs.
After several more successful abductions, tortures and rapes, culminating in the murders of their victims, the couple wed.   Years later they were dubbed the Barbie and Ken killers.  They did make a beautiful couple.
The attractive couple regularly tortured and killed young girls and women until they were finally caught.
Karla almost always actively participated in the rape and torture  of their young victims.  She also helped with  body disposal, clean up  and even video taped Paul as he abused and killed their young victims.

Just a side note: Due to a plea deal by Karla Homolkas made before the prosecutors had seen what an active part Karla took in the murders Karla is free. After serving 12 years with minimal conditions, Karla was freed.   Much of her incarceration could be described as adult day care.  Karla made  new friends during her prison stay. She was alleged to have received thousands of dollars in gifts from her lesbian lovers.  Karla left Canada 2 years after her release from prison.  She is thought to be living in the Antilles. Karla had several monetarily rewarding
lesbian relationships before she left Canada. She left Canada with her baby and a porn actor she had met.  Karla Homolkas should be about 42 years of age and her son about 3 as of this writing.  Bernardo is in his late 40's.  He acted as his on lawyer during part of his trial.  Bernardo is serving a life sentence. He is unlikely to make parole.  Canada has no death sentence.
